Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Empower Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with various functional limitations and disabilities to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Developing individualized treatment protocols, implementing effective interventions, and regularly reviewing progress to adjust care strategies as needed.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families about therapy goals, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments that promote recovery.
• Maintaining compliance with state regulations, professional documentation standards, and organizational protocols during all phases of care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure the best continuum of care for patients.
• Engaging in outreach programs and community education to promote health awareness and the benefits of physical therapy.
• Staying abreast of advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and training attending professional meetings and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility issues. Your ability to connect with patients from different backgrounds and cultures will be essential in providing empathetic and effective care. Implementing tailored treatment plans that respect individual differences and empower patients is a central focus of our practice.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in relevant software for documentation and patient management.
• A deep commitment to patient care and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is advantageous:

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation or outpatient environment.
