Territory Account Manager

CR&R Incorporated is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Account Manager to grow and manage waste and recycling business within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a sales professional whoenjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find effective environmental service solutions. Base/Commission: $60,000 + uncapped commission The Territory Account Manager plays a key role in expanding commercial, industrial, and construction-related service opportunities while supporting customers with California SB 1383 compliance and sustainability initiatives. What You'll Do Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory Build and maintain relationships with business owners, property managers, contractors, and decision-makers Conduct onsite visits, site walks, and customer presentations Execute strategic territory plans focused on revenue growth and account development Support construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects with container and service solutions Manage and retain existing customer accounts through service support, upselling, and renewals Coordinate with operations and internal teams to resolve customer service issues Negotiate pricing and customized service solutions Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity tracking in Salesforce Provide customers with SB 1383 compliance education and recycling guidance Participate in networking, community, and industry events as needed What We're Looking For Valid Driver's License required 3+ years of outside sales, account management, or solid waste/recycling industry experience preferred Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment Comfortable presenting to customers, businesses, and groups Education & Experience Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environmental Science, Public Administration, or related field OR 3+ years of relevant experience in outside sales, account management, or the solid waste and recycling industry Why CR&R?
