We are a well-established, growing oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in the Mt. Pleasant area, known for clinical excellence, efficient operations, and a patient-first culture. We are seeking a high-caliber Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and serve as the operational backbone of the practice.

This is a leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and enjoys building systems, developing people, and driving performance.

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all non-clinical operations of the practice, including front office leadership, scheduling, billing, HR coordination, and financial performance support. You will work closely with the surgeon(s) to ensure smooth operations, strong patient experience, and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage front office and administrative staff

• Oversee patient scheduling, intake, and flow in a surgical setting

• Manage billing, insurance verification, and collections (dental/medical)

• Monitor KPIs such as collections, AR, no-shows, and case acceptance

• Coordinate HR functions: hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews

• Implement and optimize office systems, workflows, and SOPs

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies

• Serve as the primary operational liaison between staff and providers
