Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and psychological evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that highlight therapeutic goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services, delivering individual, group, and family therapy using various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Work closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care, fostering an interprofessional collaboration.

• Respond to crises effectively by offering immediate psychological support and intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your training to manage emergencies compassionately.

• Participate in community outreach efforts by presenting educational content on mental health awareness and strategies to reduce stigma, which can include workshops and webinars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a diverse client base across various age groups and demographics. You will work with individuals from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enabling you to enhance your cultural competence and clinical skills. Clients may present with an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other behavioral or emotional difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated ability to create strong, therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Strong organizational abilities paired with effective time-management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of relevant experience is required, we welcome candidates with additional professional experience, particularly in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, or teletherapy practices. Previous involvement in educational and outreach programs is also advantageous.
