Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that address pre-crisis and crisis situations, including behavioral guidelines and positive behavior support plans.

• Completing timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all patient interactions and treatment plans are well recorded.

• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to identify client needs effectively, collaborating with the clinical team to provide high-quality care.

• Acting as a liaison with relevant service systems, community partners, and state agencies to ensure cohesive care delivery and resource accessibility for clients.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development, including attending conferences and participating in statewide meetings and task forces, focusing on your areas of expertise.

• Promoting and integrating the agency's mission, values, and principles into all interactions and patient care.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic functions and patient services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, those in need of substance use recovery services, and individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your expertise will guide you in creating individualized care plans that support their unique needs and foster their independence.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

• An independent LMHC license, with the ability to practice in Florida. If currently licensed in another state, Johnson's Harbor Therapy will cover the costs associated with obtaining licensure in Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community health settings and knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment will be favored. Familiarity with conducting assessments, engaging with diverse populations, and participating in multi-disciplinary teams will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
