Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities as an LMHC will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Engaging in the development of pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments that promote client safety and stability.

• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, aligning with regulatory standards and best practices.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client progress and adapt interventions as necessary.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement effective positive behavior support strategies that empower clients and enhance their recovery processes.

• Serving as a liaison with community partners, state agencies, and other stakeholders to advocate for client care and expand organizational relationships.

• Participating in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance in all operational practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use issues, developmental disabilities, and those recovering from brain injuries. Your focus will be on understanding the unique experiences and needs of each client, allowing you to co-create treatment plans that foster healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field and possess an independent LMHC license recognized by the state board. You will need the ability to manage clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports, working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and an ability to make informed decisions based on professional knowledge are essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient mental health services, crisis intervention, or substance use recovery will be beneficial. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) for documentation will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
