This role will be located on-site, providing direct patient care in the comfort and familiarity of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments upon patient intake to establish their physical health baseline and develop a personalized treatment strategy.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, enhancing our patients' recovery processes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitative exercises tailored to each patient's needs, tracking progression and making adjustments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and the importance of their involvement in the recovery process, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including occupational therapists, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists to achieve comprehensive care and improved patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements, ensuring accurate tracking of patient developments over time.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to improve mobility following injuries. Your work primarily focuses on adults, but you may also support adolescent patients. The range of conditions treated requires adaptability, empathy, and a passion for helping patients navigate their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution required.
• Current Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to foster doctor-patient relationships built on trust and empathy.
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, however, we also warmly welcome newly graduated clinicians eager to embark on their careers.
• Experience with patient education and engagement strategies to enhance adherence to treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan with employer matching, providing you with financial peace of mind. Our generous paid time off allows you to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance, with 2-3 weeks of PTO annually.
