About the Role

We are working with Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA to find a hands-on Equipment Maintenance Technician to support automated manufacturing operations. This direct-hire role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment

• Perform equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades

• Execute and track preventive maintenance schedules

• Evaluate equipment performance and develop maintenance procedures

• Identify root causes of failures and implement effective solutions

• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment and processes

• Support engineering and testing teams as needed

• Assist with manufacturing operations when required

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO procedures

REQUIRED

• HS Diploma/GED

• 3–8+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems

• Experience with PLCs and automated equipment

• Ability to read schematics and diagnose system issues

• Familiarity with motors, sensors, pneumatics, and high-voltage systems

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CMMS, etc.)
