About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be the senior accounting leader, overseeing the integrity of financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, compliance, and financial infrastructure. This role is pivotal in building a world-class accounting organization and preparing the company for the demands of operating as a public entity. Key responsibilities include leading financial close processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and developing and maintaining accounting policies. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be instrumental in establishing scalable financial processes and controls to support the company's rapid growth, both domestically and internationally. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA certification, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in public accounting. The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with deep technical accounting expertise, experience in SOX compliance, and a proven track record in high-growth technology or manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong ERP background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Experience in IPO readiness, global operations, and a strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting are also essential. The role demands a leader with a collaborative style, a passion for automation, and a commitment to strong corporate governance.
