Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while assisting with facility procedures and incident response.

DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:30 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
- Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and/or policy violations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
