Human Resources Generalist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs. Plant has 50 employees - location: 3323 N Panam Expy Suite 100, San Antonio, TX 78219 Primary Responsibilities for Human Resources Generalist: Hourly recruiting, temp and full-time. Develop recruiting plans using traditional sourcing strategies and new, creative recruiting ideas. Coordinates and conducts New Hire Orientation and On-boarding. Ensures all necessary new hire paperwork and On-boarding process is completed. Orientates and informs new Associate of benefit offerings, policies and procedures and other necessary items Development and execution of simple, repeatable processes for completion of HR work streams related to employee transactions and HR processes. Opportunity to improve HR process. Establishes strong and effective working relationships with internal/external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, company culture and employee engagement efforts Drives employee engagement by providing administration support for engagement surveys, focus groups and action planning Administers company benefit programs (medical & dental insurance and voluntary benefits) - waivers, new enrollments, election changes, maintains adequate supply of literature, processes disability claim requests according to plan design. Prepares and analyze departmental reports such as Overtime, Turnover Reports, Attendance Tracking and Hiring Create and maintain employee files and personnel records and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures. Process bi-weekly payroll and manage employee’s timecard weekly Manage supplies in the facility like cleaning company and others Creates PO for purchase, maintain PO record, process invoices. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as needed. Minimum Requirements for Human Resources Generalist: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience Experience in staffing and human resource administrative duties. Excellent interpersonal skills Knowledge of employment laws Organizational skills Detail oriented Good written and verbal communication skills.
