Locum NP/PA Trauma Surgery

Seeking an experienced Acute Care NP or PA for a locum Trauma Surgery assignment with coverage available from May through July, offering up to full-time hours. This is a Level I Trauma Center position primarily serving as a trauma hospitalist, managing inpatient trauma patients, responding to trauma activations, ED consults, admissions, and daily rounding. ICU coverage may be required based on experience.

Position Highlights:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM.
• No call required (in-house coverage only).
• EPIC EMR.
• Autonomous practice with 24/7 Trauma Surgeon support.
• Adult and adolescent patient population, with occasional pediatric cases.

Requirements:

• Board Certified Acute Care NP (ACNP/AGNP) or PA-C.
• Active Minnesota license.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
• DEA.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient APP experience, preferably in trauma, ICU, or orthopedics.
• Experience with trauma procedures such as chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, ventilator management, and suturing preferred.

Local candidates are preferred.
