What You'll Do:

• Provide trauma hospitalist coverage, primarily rounding on adult and adolescent patients
• Respond to trauma alerts from the Emergency Department
• Facilitate patient discharges and manage admissions in the ED
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, central and arterial line placements, and suturing minor lacerations
• Conduct daily rounds, manage patient conditions, and collaborate with trauma surgeons
• Maintain documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMPICT system)
• Support trauma activations and intermittent ED consults as needed

What You Need:

• Valid NP or PA license in Minnesota
• 2+ years of trauma or critical care experience
• Key skills: trauma response, patient management, procedural competency
• Required certifications: (not specified, but typically include BLS, ACLS, PALS)
• Preferred: surgical/trauma critical care experience
