Shipping Manager - 2nd Shift

Shipping Manager – Brookshire Distribution Center We are seeking an experienced leader in warehouse and order fulfillment management to coordinate a team of hourly associates on the 2nd shift (starting at 2PM) at our Brookshire Distribution Center. Responsibilities Plan, produce and execute a fast‑paced operation with leadership and development of associates. Coordinate safety and regulatory compliance proactively. Lead all aspects of shift operations including selection, shipping, receiving, cross‑docking and trailer loading. Establish weekly operations plans to process customer volume in a timely manner. Run DC quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls, track service commitment, develop quality initiatives and implement standard methodologies. Balance workload planning to meet budget and production goals. Lead inventory control and overall quality program to meet daily service levels and perfect‑order metrics. Champion employee engagement through coaching, development, and a positive collaborative work environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferred). 5+ years of management experience in supply chain distribution. WMS and LMS experience preferred. Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations. Project‑management experience (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile) desired. Experience implementing employee‑engagement, mentoring and development initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload to balance multiple demands and meet timelines. Compensation Monthly salary: $4,331.70 – $9,529.30 (hourly and salaried roles). Bonus or incentive plan eligible. Wage compliance with local/state regulations.
