Opportunity: LT - Hematology/Oncology NP

Job Details:

• Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) position
• Day shift Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Full-time coverage needed with no call requirements
• See 11-16 patients per day across all age groups
• Experience with benign and malignant hematology patients required
• Responsibilities include inpatient initial consults, ongoing patient care, and discharge execution
• Outpatient responsibilities include cycle 1 day 1 chemotherapy overview, ongoing chemotherapy visits, and survivorship care
• Provide Hypersensitivity Reaction supervision and triage support
• Same day documentation expected for inpatient services; maximum 3 days for outpatient documentation
• APP support available during daytime hours on inpatient side for both hematology and oncology
• Knowledge around bone marrow practice helpful but specialization not required
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Minnesota license required

Facility: This facility is a large hospital with 686 beds offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The Hematology/Oncology department provides specialized care for both benign and malignant conditions, with a growing bone marrow practice. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and maintains a collaborative care model with dedicated APP support integrated into the inpatient teams.
