Route Sales Supervisor

Position: Sales Route Supervisor (Full Time) – Dallas, TX. The Supervisor oversees delivery drivers, ensures DOT compliance, and improves department efficiency by routing, standardizing, and training drivers to distribute company products safely. Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and mentor Sales Route Drivers. Assist the Distribution Manager with training, operational efficiency, data evaluation, equipment utilization, and route optimization. Prioritize driver workload, schedule drivers, and assess performance. Utilize continuous improvement to identify and implement process enhancements. Enforce company safety rules and regulatory compliance. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations. Maintain positive relationships with supply chain leadership. Collaborate with functional departments to meet safety, service, cost, and people goals. Qualifications and Experience Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and accurately record data. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required. Capability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Must pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screen. Must pass a clearinghouse screening. Minimum age 21, as required by federal DOT regulations. Strong analytical and systematic problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and ability to train, mentor, and develop team members. Ability to work in hot and cold climates, indoors and outdoors, and on refrigerated trucks. Open to relocating or transferring to other locations as needed. Certificates / Licenses Class A or B commercial driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement. Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate as required by FMCSA Part 391.41. Education High school diploma or GED equivalent. Four years of prior supervisory experience. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology is preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, and bending. Work in very hot (100) and very cool (32) environments throughout the year.
