Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Create personalized treatment plans that honor clients’ goals, preferences, and mental health needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Deliver educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices.

• Continuously track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to inform treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on working with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances, including those facing challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, or domestic abuse. As an LMFT, you will be in a pivotal role to provide therapy that supports recovery, stability, and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n
