Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and positive change.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote mental wellness.

• Monitor client progress regularly, documenting treatment outcomes and adapting strategies based on evolving client needs.

• Engage in integrated treatment approaches by collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Manage sensitive client information accurately and ethically, adhering to all legal and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients often come from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role demands empathy, understanding, and a proactive approach in addressing the complex emotional and psychological needs of these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
