Peaceful Perspective Life Coaching Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our vibrant team of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for individuals, couples, and families, and develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique psychological and relational challenges.

• Deliver therapeutic services that include individual, couple, and family therapy using empirically-supported methods and interventions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to provide integrated care that meets diverse client needs.

• Document treatment progress, update treatment plans, and maintain client records accurately in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision sessions, engaging in constructive feedback to enhance therapeutic skills and approaches.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and trainings that keep you informed about the latest trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

• Follow and uphold ethical guidelines, ensuring the confidentiality of client information in all aspects of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relational conflicts, and family dynamics. Your ability to tailor your approach to meet the varying needs of these clients will be integral to their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid LMFT license in the state of New York.
\n
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in providing therapy, with a focus on substance abuse therapy preferred, though not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and solution-focused interventions.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with additional expertise in family therapy, crisis intervention, and experience working in community mental health settings will be highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth systems and virtual therapy practices will be considered an asset as well.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
