Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring proactive communication and fostering trust.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions following our evidence-based clinical models, including Attachment-Based Family Therapy.

• Conduct comprehensive Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations to engage family members in the treatment process.
\n
• Document clinical progress and treatment plans diligently, including writing assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries to comply with established standards.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to enter and maintain client data and session notes.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, offering insights and updates on client progress and challenges faced.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through meetings, trainings, and conferences on behalf of Sunrise Counseling Services.

• Independently manage your schedule to prioritize client sessions and administrative tasks efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and young adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and eating disorders. By utilizing a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, you will help clients navigate their personal experiences, foster resilience, and promote positive outcomes in their lives and relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from a recognized accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in your state of practice is essential.

• Strong foundational skills in therapy, evidenced by experience conducting individual, group, and family therapy, specifically with adolescents and young adults.

• Experience dealing with mental health issues, trauma, and substance use disorders is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
