As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
