Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history and mental health conditions, documenting findings accurately and thoroughly.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, setting achievable goals and measurable outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, sharing insights and strategies to deliver integrated and cohesive care.

• Engage and educate families, ensuring they are informed participants in the recovery process, fostering a supportive network for clients.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards while managing and preserving accurate client records and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on individuals confronting substance use disorders, along with any concurrent mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety. Our patient population ranges from young adults to seniors, each with unique backgrounds and needs. As a therapist, you will work towards empowering clients to reclaim their lives, establishing coping strategies, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices while providing unwavering support through their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license in Massachusetts as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in substance abuse counseling is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and engage clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
