This position presents an extraordinary opportunity to engage with a diverse array of patients throughout their lives, offering a blend of outpatient therapy and occasional inpatient assistance. Whether your heart lies in pediatric speech development, adult neurogenic communication, or cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation for elders, you will find both satisfaction and versatility in this role.
Description
- Conduct evaluations on patients across all age groups—pediatric, adult, and geriatric—using both standardized assessments and observational techniques.
- Create individualized treatment strategies that focus on both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focused specifically on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop unified care approaches.
- Provide education to patients and families to bolster progress in their communication journey outside of therapy sessions.
- Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring patients receive seamless care throughout their treatment process.
- Maintain consistent and precise documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers.

- Preferred possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of joining the team.
Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for varied age groups, with a keen understanding of developmental and acquired disorders affecting speech, language, and swallowing.
- Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Aptitude to adapt therapy techniques according to varied cultural and linguistic needs.
- Strong clinical judgment coupled with problem-solving skills.
- Competence in employing electronic medical records and abiding by documentation norms.
Benefits
- Attractive competitive salary based on experience.
- Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life harmony and manage diverse patient caseloads.

You will collaborate with colleagues who treat one another like family, in a workspace where cooperation is valued above competition. Each patient brings a unique narrative; we will rely on you to help shape their story.

Who We're Eager to Welcome
