Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, which include taking comprehensive medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating presenting symptoms.
• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic skin conditions, effectively managing disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin infections.
• Order and interpret various diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans that address each patient’s specific dermatological issues.
• Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care strategies, skin health promotion, and effective disease management practices.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance continuity for patients.
• Document patient encounters accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring that assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans are recorded comprehensively.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license valid in any state.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
