Experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant - Full-Time Position

Skin Elixir Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Bayonne, New Jersey. This full-time, onsite position will primarily be in our state-of-the-art surgical center, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with various dermatologic needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments, documenting all clinical transactions in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests, to support patient diagnoses.
• Perform a variety of medical procedures, such as administering injections, removing moles, and suturing as needed, demonstrating your technical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in patient education, discussing treatment options and self-care strategies to empower patients in their health journeys.
• Provide feedback and communicate suggestions or concerns to the Medical Director to enhance clinic operations.
• Stay abreast of current dermatological practices and guidelines to contribute to an evidence-based approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse patient population with various dermatological conditions including, but not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers. Your expertise will not only aid in diagnosis and treatment but also provide a caring and supportive environment for patients and their families navigating their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• A valid Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records and various software programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• The ability to work autonomously and make decisions based on medical protocols and patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Integrity, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in a dermatology setting.
• Hands-on experience with medical and surgical dermatological procedures.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows unique to dermatology practices.
