Work Environment

This role is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida, where the atmosphere is designed for both comfort and clinical efficiency. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to deliver optimal patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while serving our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of individual patients to establish treatment goals based on their unique needs and capabilities.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, offering ample time for personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Provide education on non-surgical treatment options and strategies to minimize reliance on medications, empowering patients to take charge of their health.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all records are kept up to date and compliant with relevant standards.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to enhance comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering motivation and positivity to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at Radiance Physical Therapy primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with patients of all ages, focusing on improving their overall mobility and functional capabilities. Your expertise will aid patients in restoring their independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing individualized exercise programs that cater to diverse patient needs.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
