Outside Sales Account Manager

TF Hudgins is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Account Manager to drive profitable growth across all I.P. business units. This customer-facing role is responsible for developing new business expanding strategic accounts and delivering coordinated technical solutions for industrial customers with an emphasis on reciprocating and rotating equipment applications. The successful candidate will build trusted customer relationships identify operational needs and connect clients with the full range of TF Hudgins products services and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

o Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities across all TF Hudgins I.P. business units.

o Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve revenue margin and growth targets.

o Conduct customer visits and site assessments to understand operational challenges and recommend appropriate products services and technical solutions.

o Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline prepare proposals and follow opportunities through closure.

Account Management

o Develop and grow long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers across assigned accounts and territory.

o Serve as the primary commercial contact while coordinating technical support from TF Hudgins subject-matter experts and business units.

o Negotiate pricing contracts and commercial terms in alignment with company policies and profitability goals.

o Maintain accurate customer activity opportunity and forecast information in HubSpot CRM.

Technical & Market Development

o Apply working knowledge of reciprocating and rotating equipment to identify customer needs and develop consultative solutions.

o Monitor market trends competitor activity installed equipment maintenance cycles and customer capital and operating plans.

o Share customer and market feedback with internal teams to support product service and business development priorities.

Collaboration

o Partner with engineering operations service product and customer support teams to ensure effective solution development and execution.

o Coordinate cross-selling opportunities across all I.P. business units and provide customers with a unified TF Hudgins experience.

o Represent TF Hudgins at customer meetings industry events trade shows and networking activities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Marketing or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience:

o Demonstrated outside sales or account management experience in industrial markets.

o Technical experience with reciprocating and rotating equipment is preferred.

o Experience developing new business managing strategic accounts and selling technical products or services.

Skills:

o Strong communication negotiation presentation and relationship-building skills.

o Ability to understand customer operations interpret technical requirements and develop consultative solutions.

o Strong planning pipeline management forecasting and follow-through capabilities.

o Knowledge of HubSpot CRM is preferred.

Other Requirements:

o Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory and to customer sites as business needs require.

o Valid drivers license and ability to meet customer site-access requirements.

Preferred Attributes

Working knowledge of reciprocating compressors engines pumps turbines or other rotating equipment.

Familiarity with industrial reliability maintenance repair and aftermarket service environments.

Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM to manage accounts opportunities activities and forecasts.

Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales margin and account-growth targets.

Ability to collaborate across multiple business units and coordinate comprehensive customer solutions.
