Work Environment

As a remote position, this role allows you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our team. Our operations are fully supported by advanced telehealth technology, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within a virtual setting. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs and accommodate diverse schedules. Each day brings the rewarding challenge of helping clients navigate their mental health journeys in an accessible manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify each patient's unique challenges and strengths.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the diverse backgrounds of your clients, incorporating individual, family, and group therapy strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that your patients feel secure and understood.
• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, creating a multidisciplinary care approach that enhances treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, suitable treatment options, and community resources, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records to comply with all legal and ethical standards while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Engage actively in continuous learning through participation in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices within the mental health field to provide cutting-edge care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is incredibly diverse, encompassing individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will be required to deliver mental health services to clients who may have experienced cultural trauma, navigating potentially sensitive issues related to their identity. Your role will involve creating an environment of trust and openness so that clients feel respected and understood throughout their healing process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• A strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, combined with a commitment to cultural sensitivity.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct both individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive care.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, proven through a track record of building rapport with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems and related computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Commitment to ethical practices, professional boundaries, and confidentiality.
• A team-oriented mindset capable of effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in community health settings, providing mental health services to underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
• Proficiency in working with specialized populations, including but not limited to children, adolescents, and various cultural groups.

Compensation and Benefits

Blissful Retreat Psychotherapy Services offers competitive compensation in the range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 yearly. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
