Our client is seeking a Non-equity Partner to join their New York office with a focus
on Professional Liability Defense. This is an excellent
opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to take on a high-level role within a growing
and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle complex professional and professional liability matters from inception
through resolution
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion
practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Provide strategic legal counsel and risk analysis to clients
• Maintain and build strong client relationships
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on sophisticated matters
• Mentor junior attorneys and support overall team development
• Participate in business development efforts and firm growth initiatives
Qualifications:
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in New York/New Jersey.
• Significant experience in commercial litigation and/or professional liability defense
• Strong writing, analytical, and courtroom skills
• Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
• Portable book of business is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
• Partner-level compensation ranging from $250,000–$300,000+, depending on experience
and book of business
