Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, staff, and parents
• Flexibility, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
• Familiarity with classroom technology and adaptive tools preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique goals in each student’s IEP
• Document and monitor student progress, making necessary instructional adjustments
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide guidance and support to general education teachers for inclusive practices
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet a broad spectrum of learning styles and needs
