Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be performed remotely, providing flexibility and convenience for our providers while enabling them to extend care to their clients effectively. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs while maintaining a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally informed mental health assessments to identify unique patient experiences and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and group settings, adjusting techniques according to patients' cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience among clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating an ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and pertinent community resources.

• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately while adhering to legal and ethical standards regarding confidentiality.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to continuously enhance service delivery and professional development.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Pennsylvania.

• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methods and cultural competency.

• Experience in providing inclusive and culturally responsive individual and group therapy.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities and the capacity to remain level-headed in challenging circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, complemented by the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
