Information Technology SpecialistAre you technically skilled with good problem-solving abilities? PYA is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to join its high-performing and privately-owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation. The duties of the Information Technology Specialist include being a reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, amongst other technical duties. The Information Technology Specialist will interact with colleagues throughout the PYA Enterprise.ResponsibilitiesProvide first level technical support to PYA employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues and serving as the first point of contacts for issues and errors, via email, telephone, remote connection, and at the user's desksideAssist with computer setup for new PYA employeesRepair or replace damaged hardware on computers or technical equipmentSoftware support across a wide range of applicationsEstablish excellent relationships with all departments and colleaguesManage technical documentationQualificationsAssociate degree, or pursuit of associate degree, in IT, computer science, or related field required1+ years of experience in computer support preferred, ideally with PCs and MacsExperience with Office 365 requiredSound judgement with the ability to manage risk effectivelySuperior communication skills, both oral and writtenExcellent project management skillsTraits that include: detail-oriented, flexible, and responsiveAbility to effectively work as a member of a teamClient-oriented work ethicOpenness to feedbackAbout PYAPYA, a leading independent professional services firm, serves clients across the United States with expertise in consulting, accounting, audit, tax, compliance, and business strategy.
