Job Description

Make an impact supporting students growth and participation in school-based activities as a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) on a full-time contract assignment near Milford, DE. What you bring:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• At least one year of experience working in school settings
• Strong skills supporting students with autism and behavioral challenges
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to reliably commute to and from the assignment site
• Willingness and ability to pass required drug screen and fingerprint/background check
• Availability for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) with no part-time consideration
• Professionalism and punctuality in both attendance and communication

In this role, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans to promote students functional independence in school activities
• Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilizing engaging interventions and therapeutic strategies for students with diverse learning or behavioral needs
• Maintaining detailed documentation and participant progress records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Adhering to all district and site protocols regarding attendance, absence notification, and professional conduct
• Participating in meetings, IEPs, and ongoing professional development with school staff
