Senior Accountant

LHH continues to help or fast growing client to build their accounting team. This Senior Accountant role is newly created role helps to address the growth. This is an opportunity to get in when things are established but there is so much upside coming. The company has plans to double in size in the next 2-3 years. Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting - Hybrid 3 days in office $100-115K, 15% bonus Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage (options with no premiums) 4% contribution to 401(k) plans Unlimited paid time off plus 11 Paid holidays Wellness and cell phone credits Life and AD&D insurance Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for community and support Hours/Schedule : 40-45 hours typically, Peaks can reach 55-60 hours for a short sprints quarterly This job: Participate in the company Operational Accounting, General Ledger and Month end close Multi-Entity and Intercompany Accounting, could include development of new entities as part of new projects Reviewing work being done by outsourced accounting team (typically this work is mostly journal entries, intercompany transactions, CIP and Construction Accounting) Reviewing AR Invoices, Revenue validation Coordinate with outsource accounting team on corrections and edits Special projects contributing to company growth and process improvement We are looking for: 4+ years of experience with a strong hands on focus, public accounting is a nice to have Intercompany and multi-entity accounting will be prioritized Experience with a company that has complex legal entity structures Solid understanding of US GAAP, understanding dr/cr, experience with JEs and reconciliation Strong communication skills, ability to set out deliverables and meet them, and to follow up in a reasonable timeline Comfortable in a role where they review, delegate, and can explain things to people when they are overseeing the work. Strongly prefer Netsuite or other ERP experience CPA preferred but not required Preference to someone with renewable energy background Cultural Notes: Team does a lot of events together and has so much fun.
