Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, help with conducting external/internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. The Sr. Accountant will accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are paramount. Responsibilities Reconciling bank accounts Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes Meeting processing and reporting deadlines Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits Ensuring compliance with GAAP Assisting Controller as needed Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist with general administrative functions Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for management Support the monthend close process Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required 5+ years of accounting experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Working knowledge of GAAP Strong numeracy and analytical skills Good problem solving and time management skills Highly organized and detail oriented High level of integrity and professionalism Experience with ERP Systems Salary range: $72,000 - $80,000 DOE (Salaried - Exempt) Work Location: In person, Monday to Friday East Side Plating offers a competitive wage, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.
