Leader in their industry, our exciting global SaaS education client seeks a full time Manager, Accounting and Consolidations. This is an onsite role reporting to the Folsom, CA office.

Our Finance team is a passionate, high-performing group committed to supporting our client operations through accurate and timely financial transaction management. The team provides critical business guidance on a broad range of accounting, reporting, and analytical projects, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant and related work experience, at least 3 years in consolidation
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Experience managing small to midsized teams and functional areas.
• Strong project management/organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Creative problem solver with an ability to think strategically and present information in a concise fashion.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with NetSuite desired

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Our Accounting team manages business transactions on behalf of the organization, reporting on company performance, issuing financial statements, and maintaining financial records. Your day-to-day job will consist of:
• Thorough review of journal entries and reconciliations, following up with requestors for any additional support or understanding if necessary
• Oversee and refine month-end close processes, procedures, including accounting for intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation, remeasurements, and global chart of accounts maintenance.
• Participate in monthly global consolidations and intercompany eliminations processes.
• Lead financial analysis to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for leadership
• Assist the daily activities and the career development of team members, including hiring, coaching, reviewing work, establishing goals and performance management of team members as required.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiencies, and drive solutions focusing on regional and global standardization.
• Assist other team members' daily responsibilities as a backup when necessary.
• Participate in the year-end financial statement audit process
• Ensure policies and processes are well documented, updated, applied consistently and broadly
• Maintain a great working relationship with all business partners. Provide accounting policies, process, and training to staff and business partners as required.
• Assist in various cross-functional projects and participate in various ad-hoc special projects as assigned.
