Staff Accountant

Managing the General Ledger and month-end close Preparing journal entries and bank reconciliations Processing payroll and owner distributions Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Leading budgeting and forecasting activities Preparing monthly financial statements, P&Ls, and cash flow reports Monitoring weekly cash balances and company liquidity Managing quarterly CapEx reporting Performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Identifying financial trends and variances while providing recommendations Working directly with company leadership on financial reporting and business decisions Supporting continuous process improvements across the accounting function What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and has the confidence to work independently while collaborating with leadership. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience preparing financial statements Budgeting and forecasting experience Advanced QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel skills AppFolio experience is a plus Real estate or property management accounting experience is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines Love digging into numbers and solving financial puzzles. Enjoy improving processes and finding efficiencies. Take pride in producing accurate financial information. Like working closely with leadership instead of being "just another accountant."
