What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouse spaces loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify entry and exit activity and report policy violations maintenance concerns and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders and site expectations.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence assisting with traffic and visitor flow and completing required reports logs and other security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
