Payer Contracting Manager

Amgen seeks a Payer Contracting Manager to develop and execute contracts with national payer accounts across its product portfolio. The role involves drafting rebate agreements and contract amendments, managing contract lifecycle data, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of contracting deliverables. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Contract Development and supports Amgen's commercial objectives through effective payer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop payer rebate agreements, amendments, and notice letters for strategic accounts
• Manage contract document lifecycle including version control and stakeholder communication
• Maintain contract data accuracy in CLM system and ensure key terms reflect final agreements
• Drive timely contract deliverables by identifying issues early and coordinating across workstreams
• Compile documentation for audits and litigation with full traceability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years contract development or writing experience
• Experience drafting pharmaceutical contracts
• Strong Microsoft Word and administrative skills
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent documents and prioritize requests
• Knowledge of US healthcare reimbursement environment
• Proficiency reading, drafting, and editing legal contract documents
