Supervisory Contract Specialist

DutiesYou will provide unlimited contracting support to various Department of Defense (DOD) activates.You will provide technical guidance and training to Contract Specialists, Purchasing Agents, and contracting personnel in developmental positions as well as requiring activity personnel.You will be responsible for the solicitation, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation of contractor's proposals for highly complex and technical requirements within the branch, as well as direct supervision of the employees in the branchYou will be expected to display and maintain mastery in the execution of "cradle-to-grave" contracting and procurement.You will advise employees and customers of any changes in acquisition procedures, regulation, or policy, as necessary.
