Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will primarily work in a home care setting, offering a flexible and personalized approach to rehabilitation. Our onsite services allow therapists to develop strong relationships with their clients, observing their everyday challenges and ensuring they receive the most effective treatment. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare professionals, to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the objectives and requirements for each patient, implementing evidence-based practices.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour, allowing for comprehensive care and attention to detail.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities that improve range of motion.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that promote a healthy lifestyle, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support to patients throughout the rehabilitation process, fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic medical record systems, such as WebPT.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Restore Wellness, you will work predominantly with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. Our clientele varies in age and activity levels, requiring an adaptable and creative approach to therapy that caters to diverse needs.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• No prior disciplinary actions on your license.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits
