Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your principal duties will include:

• Evaluating patient needs by conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized treatment programs based on individual rehab goals and physician recommendations.
• Administering therapeutic interventions and monitoring patient progress using various techniques including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate patient care approaches that enhance recovery and maximize outcomes.
• Providing education, training, and consultation for patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation practices and home exercise programs.
• Documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate records for compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Orthopedic Physical Therapists primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. They will also occasionally engage with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, allowing for varied and enriching experiences. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the field, demonstrating a solid background in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficient word processing and computer skills necessary for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience is two years, we highly value additional certifications or specialties in orthopedic rehabilitation, experience in multi-disciplinary environments, or participation in community outreach programs.
