Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct individual and group therapy sessions to a varied patient population, while ensuring all documentation adheres to agency and licensing standards.

• Collaborate in developing and implementing on-unit programming, as well as participate in training and professional development activities aimed at enhancing therapeutic techniques.

• Communicate effectively with treatment teams and attend necessary meetings, contributing to the collaborative nature of care across disciplines which enhances treatment efficacy and discharge planning.

• Contribute to treatment plans by providing timely consultations, assessments, and adjustments based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety, and life transition challenges. As a mental health counselor, you'll play a pivotal role in assessing client needs and implementing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique experiences of each individual. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
