Legal Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Job Duties:- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Assist attorneys in all administrative tasks
- Previous experience as a Criminal Defense or Civil Legal Assistant/Secretary preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline-driven and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols,
- Satisfactory knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
