Job Responsibilities

• Implement targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to establish unified care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families, enhancing their progress and skills beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions to guarantee seamless care throughout the recovery journey.
• Ensure meticulous and timely patient documentation that adheres to all regulatory guidelines.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field by engaging in ongoing education and teamwork with peers.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Texas.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
