Speech Language Therapist - SLP
Ignite Brilliance in Communication in the Heart of the Texas Panhandle – Become a Speech Language Therapist with Us
What if your next position allowed you to literally give voice to purpose? As a Speech Language Therapist in one of Texas's most welcoming communities, your role will extend beyond merely addressing speech and swallowing disorders. You'll unlock abilities, reinforce confidence, and cultivate meaningful bonds — guiding young children as they form their first sentences and assisting older adults as they reclaim their independence.
This role offers a remarkable chance to engage with individuals of all ages within a setting that elegantly combines outpatient services with a touch of inpatient support. Whether your passion lies in nurturing the communication skills of children, addressing adult neurogenic conditions, or providing cognitive support to the elderly, you will experience deep satisfaction and flexibility here.
Description
- Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized tests alongside observational methods.
- Craft specialized treatment plans that target immediate objectives as well as ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on various aspects of communication, including language proficiency, fluency, vocal attributes, and swallowing capabilities.
- Work in conjunction with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise coordinated care strategies.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families to ensure progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
- Maintain precise and prompt documentation in accordance with applicable state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Engage in continuous education and peer collaboration to keep abreast of the latest trends within the field.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies across all age groups, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders, both developmental and acquired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Adept at tailoring therapy techniques to accommodate culturally and linguistically diverse needs.
- Sound clinical judgment and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation expectations.
Benefits
- Attractive salary package reflective of your experience.
- Flexible work schedules to promote work-life harmony and diverse patient caseloads.
- Options to specialize in pediatric care, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric services.
- Paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday remuneration.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
- Support for continuing education and professional growth.
- A collaborative work environment centered around quality care and continuous learning.
A Career That Moves with You — and Moves You Forward
In this position, you are not merely delivering speech therapy — you are joining a community-driven mission to rejuvenate voices, enhance communication, and create lasting happiness through the most fundamental aspects of humanity: understanding and being truly heard.
You'll work alongside colleagues who regard each other as family, in an environment that values collaboration more than competition. Every patient comes with a story; we trust you to help shape how their narrative unfolds.

Who We're Looking For
We're on the lookout for a Speech Language Therapist who is motivated not only by measurable results but also by compassion. Someone who sees a timid child and envisions a future filled with expression, who listens to the hesitant words of a stroke survivor and recognizes a steadfast spirit.
You could be a pediatric specialist eager to venture into adult services — or a clinician with a focus on neuro-based treatments ready to integrate early interventions.
Whatever drives you, if you're prepared to serve with heart and enlighten through expertise, we would be thrilled to have you on board.
Let's Find the Right Words Together
If you view speech as more than mere sounds and therapy as beyond simple tasks — if you believe in building trust before addressing challenges, and valuing joy as much as communication — this might be the next chapter in your professional journey.
Join us in a community that cherishes language, connection, and the courage to start anew. Apply today to lend your voice to our team — and assist others in discovering theirs.
