Work Environment

This full-time position is based in a patient's home, providing you with the unique opportunity to deliver care in a familiar and comfortable setting. Working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a predictable schedule that supports work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations through comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to aid in the restoration of mobility and mitigate pain.
• Utilize cost-effective treatment methodologies and emphasize non-surgical interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities while minimizing reliance on pharmacological solutions.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs based on thorough evaluations to improve strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment journeys, fostering a positive outlook and adherence to therapy protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided using electronic medical record (EMR) software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Continuously assess treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on monitored progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various conditions, including orthopedic issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A strong clinical foundation with proven skills in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Commitment to using evidence-based practice techniques; familiarity with current research and its practical applications in therapy settings.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and timely documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally working in home health or outpatient environments.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
