Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, considering their severity, impact, and history.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and recovery goals, ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Implement recognized therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote positive mental health outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, the available treatment options, and strategies for self-care and management.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment strategies and interventions as necessary to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and medical team members, facilitating integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical aspects of mental health.

• Stay updated on the latest research and clinical developments in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance your clinical practices.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives, sharing insights and contributing to the clinical team's knowledge base.

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and goals. Assessing their individual circumstances will be crucial in providing effective support and facilitating their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
