At a Global level, this role is accountable for overseeing and managing all fiscal responsibilities, risk and reporting for a number of divisions across the global organization. This role that is responsible for providing leadership and consulting support to senior leadership stakeholders on matters pertaining to strategic financial management in support of achieving corporate objectives and business growth. The Senior Vice President, Finance provides significant input into the overall finance strategy as it relates to the Regional/Divisional business strategy whilst driving a collaborative and innovative culture across the finance function focused on strategic and operational excellence.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Provides significant input into the strategic direction and management of the finance and accounting function.Drives the implementation of the business financial strategy in conjunction with senior executives and direct reports.Attends business reviews and facilitates data analysis that drives key decisions (financials, value capture).Contributes to the facilitation of business / financial performance reviews (including value capture).Ensures the development of financial processes, systems, and policies and ensures that these are established and adhered to.Oversees the work in progress cycle and ensures proper and efficient costing, managing operational cost recovery and operational expenditure.Contributes to the analysis and preparation of several statutory financial reports and ensures the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums.Implements and manages compliance with financial controls and regulations and drives corporate governance and stewardship and contributes to the management of legal and corporate risk.Ensures adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and manages a team of Senior Finance Managers/Directors carrying out the financial management and control processes.Ensures legal compliance with regard to legal and fiscal tax requirements in relation to the geography in which they operate.Oversees the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analyses of financial performance.Ensures that annual audit processes are coordinated effectively and followed.Annually initiates and oversees the process of budget compilation and management.Contributes significantly to merger and acquisition processes.Responsible for providing management and leadership activities across a Finance division to ensure organisation and team objectives are achieved.Knowledge and Attributes:Demonstrates substantially vast financial knowledge and general management and leadership ability.Process-driven and commercially astute.Understands how technology solutions are influenced and affected by various business scenarios.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Substantially vast business negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Political savvy.Excellent leadership skills, strategic capability, proactive approach.Substantially vast financial expertise and business acumen.Ability to influence and advise Executives Leadership, providing insights that will lead to decision making within the business.Excellent knowledge of big data analysis.Excellent ability to work under pressure, planning personal workload and delegating.Substantially vast understanding of regulation, innovation, and microeconomic industry trends coupled with an understanding of cost and revenue, capital allocation, and stakeholder issues.Ability to adapt to changing business environments and lead financial transformation initiatives when necessary.Commitment to ethical and responsible financial practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development.Academic Qualifications and Certifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Finance related field preferred.Preferably post-graduate degree with extensive experience in a financial management capacity preferred.Required experience:Substantially vast financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives.Substantially vast experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function.Substantially vast strategic planning experience.Substantially vast in-depth knowledge and understanding of the information technology industry environment and business needs, combined with a strong understanding of the business process.Substantially vast experience as a people and resource manager.Substantially vast demonstrable experience developing business plans.Substantially vast general management experience and capability.About NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
