HR Generalist

Location: Hammond, IN (100% onsite daily) Salary: $49,750 - $53,650 About The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a growing organization by managing a variety of human resources functions. This role will partner with leadership and employees to ensure effective HR operations, compliance, employee engagement, and talent management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Serve as a resource for employee relations, policy interpretation, and performance management Support recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and employee records maintenance Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices Coordinate training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives Maintain HRIS records and generate reports as needed Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and employee coaching efforts Partner with managers on staffing, workforce planning, and employee development Qualifications Previous HR Generalist experience required Knowledge of employee relations, employment laws, benefits, and HR compliance Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
